Welcome to the wondrous world of weaving! In this beginners class you will learn the fundamental basics to frame loom weaving! Explore the creation of tapestry weaving from start to finish! Learn to create patterns, select a color palette, and the basic weaving stitching techniques needed to create a wall tapestry all your own! In this class you will learn about materials, tools, warping, basic designing and weaving techniques, finishing, and care.

Price includes thoughtfully sourced materials (no additional materials fees). You will leave the class with your own little frame loom and tools to get you started. Students also get 15% off in the shop while they are workshop students (for multi-session/week workshops this discount applies to the entire duration of workshop).

All classes meet at our shop at 606 Carpenter Lane, Philadelphia PA 19119 - in the heart of Mt. Airy Village. There is plenty of free on-street parking as well as High Point Cafe and Weaver's Way Co-op steps away for your food and beverage needs. Kiddos are always welcome to hang in the shop!
